Admiration

you can tell when someone admires what you do or your way of doing things when they copy what you do. i used to find it somewhat upsetting but ehhh....i guess it's a good thing. it's just annoying when you actually notice it. i mean....if you copy someone aren't you supposed to kind flip it so that you aren't just a copycat? that way you aren't even copying, you're just using certain elements and creating your own gems.

i feel like saying "please stop" but really go ahead but you'll always be trailing behind if you do everything i do a step after. so thanks for securing your spot lesser than me....good job :)

Sooner Or Later

I feel pretty good today. I woke up to Batman saving christmas on Cartoon Network, that shit was hilarious. Life is better than it's ever been...well it feels that way and it can only get better. (insert more rambling, space filling, and element to create the perfect blog for you today cus nothing too interesting happened but maybe later i'll have something to share. until then....peace out. actually i wonder how long i can type in these parentheses.....if thats how you spell it. who cares? yall know what i mean.)

watup its Harley, i'm in chicago chillin wit family. I got alot of time to think about stuff....i'm not sure what about but i have alot of time......yeah. anyway here's a little something i found interesting.



i actually was listening to the Beatles and this song stood out to me so i put drums over it. i was sampling it because the vocals were on the right side and the music was on the left so i'm gonna pan it out one day. you wont be able to do it with this tho but you can try. anyway here's somewhat of the story behind the song. the beat is on my myspace page and the link for the story is in the references section so check that out.

A Week Without Internet

it was a pretty busy week. we stayed at will's mom's crib while she was away for thanksgiving and got 2 songs done just to stay productive and they came out pretty hot. went over to the studio and ended up riding to hampton and staying in the marriott for the night. i caught up one episode of the office, i enjoyed it like i was watching it all day. oh yeah we watched a nice amount of pineapple express before it cut off and then the new james bond before the cops came because there was a mixup and somehow we magically got in the rooms without checking in and had keys too. got that cleared up at the front desk tho, the cops were actually kinda cool. i had to flush my laptop cus it was startin to run slow and freeze up...now i have pro tools and i know how to use it so holla at me if you need something mixed down or something i do everything. oohhh i saw Twilight. that shit was good, they made it all regular and low budget looking to bring it to life. the soundtrack is hot too...speakin of that i'm supposed to be gettin paramore's album. you probably wouldn't fuck with them cus you're closed-minded and won't listen to anything if it don't knock. right? iono
